5. Hyundai Kona EV: 2.375.000₹
The Hyundai Kona EV is an electric SUV with a realistic range up to 400 km. This Korean car is available in India since 2020, and the price starts from ₹23,75 lahk.
4. Tata Nexon EV: 1.399.000₹
This electric SUV is an electrified version of the gasoline powered Nexon, designed and built by Indian manufacturer Tata Motors. This car has a realistic range of about 170 km and costs at least ₹13,99 lahk.
3. Tata Tigor Electric: 954.000₹
The Tigor EV is Tata’s electric compact sedan. The car features a realistic range of 130 km and costs at least ₹9,54 lahk.

Mahindra, another big Indian manufacturer, got the eVerito in its line-up. This electric sedan is a direct competitor to the Tata Tigor EV. The eVerito comes with two possible battery sizes; 14 kWh or 18 kWh. It offers a real range of 90 to 110 km. The cheapest version got a price tag of ₹9,12 lahk.

The cheapest electric car that is currently available in India comes from the Mahindra brand. It’s the e2oPlus (the blue car on the picture above), an ultra compact city car with 4 seats. It features an electric range of 70 km (11 kWh) to 100 km (15 kWh) and costs at least ₹7,57 lahk.
